Gilles & Cecilie Studio curated Professional Practice program for BA Visual Communication at the CASS School of Art, Design & Architecture together with Ricardo Eversley and Kieron Barouchi. Professional Practice cover two modules for year 2 and 3. CIP (Creative Industry Practice) and Design Competition. The aim is to curate a program of project briefs that help the students to learn about being a practitioner within the field. From project management, planning, ideas and development to professional presenting their work to visiting clients through live projects. The students did collaboration with The Duke of Uke and The Art of Ping Pong as well as submitting designs for Penguin Book Awards, RSA Awards and Secret 7. Anuschka Raper in year 3 got selected with 2 of her designs for the Secret 7 exhbition and Joao Cardoso was 1 of the students selected to take part in the Art of Ping Pong Auction.
For the end of year show, Gilles & Cecilie Studio, created a modular system for the students to use and make their own catalogue of work for these modules. The main idea was that each student would make copies of their work using our templates on a range of coloured papers. All the copies were displayed on a long table where the audience could pick their favourites and fasten them with paper binders.
