The Quorum in Bristol is a shared office building that have been refurbished. Interior design by Emily Penrose who commissioned us to create handprinted signs. 12 in total they were all handprinted in our studio in Shoreditch, each one designed with different background composed of local flora. Each number is designed with details of local architecture and landmarks within its form.
Gilles & Cecilie was invited by Randaberg Kommune and KORO in Norway to participate in a competition to be the main artist for their new Culture House and School. In September 2016 they were announced winners and have since been spending the last year working to develop and installing 8 unique pieces.

Together with Per Dybvig (Berlin/Stavanger) og Jorunn Sannes (Oslo ) Gilles & Cecilie Studio have been invited to propose art and design for Harestad School and Randaberg House of Culture in Randaberg in Norway.
Commissioned by 657 Oslo to paint their calendar wall. This wall is in the entrance where all visitors and residents will stop by to keep up to date on monthly events
Gilles & Cecilie Studio have been fortunate to develop illustrative interior for Thomas Tallis School for the last few years. These windows are part of the work called A Portrait of your Home.
Gilles & Cecilie Studio did a workshop with a group of their pupils and then created meaningful and colourful wallpaintings throughout the schools building celebrating their aims, values and ethos.
Gilles and Cecilie Studio have been commissioned by The Daily D to create 2 large scale installations for the gift and interior fair ( Gave & Interiørmessen/ Oslo Design Fair) that took place in Lillestrøm, Norway, end of January.
Commissioned by Moleskine to illustrate their store windows for the festive season.
Design studio Thomas.Matthews commissioned Gilles & Cecilie Studio to work with them on six wards at London’s Chelsea Children’s Hospital and use illustration to bring to life their My Universe concept. A collaboration with illustrator Malika Favre, they created a set of seven planet named extra-terrestrial families for each ward.
