NEW SCIENTIST

In this editorial illustration for the New Scientist we have been learning about Vera Rubin and the dark matters. Rubins observatory is opening next year and will change the way we look at space. In this illustration we have illustrated space as a tapestry with hands flickering the mesh.

The centre piece is a woven grid around the unknown. To unravel a tapestry we can pull and alter the warps and wefts as this fabric may change when Vera Rubin telescope get a new look into space.
